DIAGNOdent Laser Cavity detection is a high tech diagnostic laser that allows us to diagnose your teeth for cavities reliably, accurately, and objectively. Until DIAGNOdent the dental explorer was used to check for cavities, but the diagnosis was subjective and differentiating between "stain" and early decay was very subjective. Now with DIAGNOdent we can objectively evaluate your teeth and detect cavities earlier preventing more extensive damage from decay.

With early detection our patients receive the benefit of conservative, less costly treatment. This means less time away from work doing larger procedures and also cost savings to our patients because we are able to catch problems while they are small.
